Team captain comments:

The team captain and club chairman David Blower has had this reaction to say about the Cannock Chess League Division Two season so far:  "I have been delighted with the results so far this season as we have been competitive in every game and in particular I have been happy with my own performances even if I have been lucky at times."

Looking ahead to the rest of the season, David added:  "We will be looking to give different team players games and if we compete as well in the second half of the season as we did in the first half I will be very happy indeed."
