Like everywhere else in the UK at the moment, Brewood Chess Circle is closed until further notice as the UK government try and deal with the Coron Virus situation. Let me use this update to wish everyone well at this difficult time. The club will reopen as soon as possible but in the meantime it is continuing online, on two different websites.

The Brewood Chess Circle 2019 AGM will take place at the club on Tuesday 21st May 2019 at 8:00pm. Since last year's AGM the address of the club has moved and here is our new address:

After many years at St. Mary's (RC) Church Hall in Wharf Lane in Brewood the club committee have decided the time is right to move the chess club to the Royal British Legion in Shop Lane in Brewood.

Following the successful social chess event held at The Boat Inn pub in Penkridge on Tuesday 17th July Brewood Chess Circle are delighted to announce that we have agreed another venue for another social chess event which this time will be held in Codsall on Tuesday 28th August from 7:30pm-10:30pm this time at The Crown Joule's pub in Codsall.

The Brewood Chess Circle 2017 AGM is on Tuesday 2nd May 2017 at 7:30pm at the club. It is going to be a very important AGM as there are a number of issues surrounding the club at the moment.

The Brewood Chess Circle 2016 AGM took place on Tuesday 14th June 2016 at 7:30pm at the club. There was quite a large attendance of 17 for the AGM, including two juniors and three parents, and most of the other adult members of the chess club.
