On Wednesday 16th October 2013 the Brewood A team travelled and then played against Kidderminster away in the Wolverhampton Chess League 2013-2014 division 2 match. Here is the match card:

On Monday 16th February 2015 the Brewood A team travelled to Rushall in the Wolverhampton Chess League 2014-2015 division 2 season to play against the Rushall A team. The result was a heavy defeat with the captain John Fenby absent. The result still leaves a possibility of relegation. The Brewood A team continued the Wolverhampton Chess League 2014-2015 division 2 season away to Halesowen B on Tuesday 13th January 2015. Looking to get a win against the team bottom of the division the team travelled to Halesowen looking to make up for a gutting last gasp defeat to the same club's A team earlier on in the season. On Tuesday 25th November 2014 Brewood A hosted Halesowen A in Brewood's 2nd match of the season in the Wolverhampton & District Chess League 2014-2015 division 2 season. The Wolverhampton Chess League fixtures are out for the 2014-2015 season, subject to final confirmation from the Wolverhampton Chess League.
These fixtures cover both the A team in the Wolverhampton Chess League division 2, and also the B team in the Wolverhampton Chess League division 3. The website also needs to report that another member of the club's A team, Roger Grainger has also gone the 2013-2014 season undefeated for the Brewood A team in the Wolverhampton Chess League division 2. Congulations to him from the club. He played 6 matches this season, winning 2 and drawing 4.

Congulations from Brewood Chess Circle to one of our club members Stephen Micklewright, who played for the Brewood A team this season in the Wolverhampton Chess League Division 2. The website can confirm after the St. George's B team lost at home to the Mercia A team on Monday 24th February, that the Brewood A team have mathematically survived relegation in the Wolverhampton Chess League Division 2. The Brewood A team already have 7 points from 8 games, with a record of won 3, drew 1, lost 4, with a board count of 25½.
